![Saida is a 40 -year-old woman with 3 children who came to Tunisia in 2021.
Saida was only six years old when she and her mother had to flee Eretria to Sudan. Her mother died soon after their arrival, leaving Saida alone who had to struggle to get through the days.
At 17 she got married to an Eritrean man living in Sudan “After the birth of my two children we struggled financially, my husband decided to hit the road to Europe, but he died in the sea before arriving “said Saida.
Remarried to her third daughter’s father, they decided to flee from Sudan because of poverty, they crossed to Libya hoping for a better life.
Yet, Saida and her family were trapped in a life of persecution, and abuse.
Leaving her husband behind , Saida surpassed her sorrow and decided to flee to Tunisia “ I didn’t want to go to Europe by sea, I didn’t want my children to experience the same story as their father, Tunisia was my only solution as I know that it’s a secure country that respects human rights”
She walked Tunisia. The UN refugee agency and partners distributed clothing donated by UNIQLO to some 9,000 displaced people and vulnerable members of the host community across Tunisia.](/kr/sites/kr/files/RF1173370.jpg)
