Syrian refugee and earthquake survivor Jamile Mohammed Ali shares her experience of the devastating earthquakes that hit Southeastern Türkiye. Jamile tells the moments of the crumbling of her house, and how she could not comprehend when her daughter called on them to jump from the third floor, which had now descended to ground level. Jamile found shelter in the container city established by the Turkish State in Pazarcık, Kahramanmaraş and expresses her gratitude for the containers which provided many essentials and helped them feel a sense of normality during the adaptation period in the aftermath of the earthquakes.
