Population data

Population data is essential to inform the design of an assessment, such as providing a sampling frame, and to help facilitate analysis. Official statistics of UNHCR and nowcasting estimates are published in the Refugee Data Finder to the public. UNHCR colleagues can access the Orion Analytics Centre, UNHCR's one-stop shop for all types of population data. It is a single platform that combines national-level population and location analysis.

In addition to the Refugee Data Finder and the Orion Analytics Centre, users can craft a report instantly by drawing from multiple UNHCR data systems, including PRIMES, COMPASS and the Operational Data Portal.
