Data analysis plan

Always plan early for analysis.

The Data Analysis Plan is your next step once the Analytical Framework for your assessment has been defined. It's important that the people conducting the analysis (including those with a statistical background) are able to work on this plan in advance of any discussions on questionnaires. 

Data collection and questionnaires should be designed based on the analysis plan (and not the other way around).

By having a clear data analysis plan, you can ensure that your data collection and questionnaires are aligned with the objectives of the assessment and that questions and corresponding indicators are focused only on the information needed for the assessments purpose, avoiding the addition of "good to know" questions that do not directly help answer the assessment objectives.
