UNHCR organised a reception at Riad Salam hotel that was attended by the media and representatives from partner agencies and the diplomatic community. The event featured a speech by a Liberian refugee representative, and a poetry recital by an Iraqi refugee and an art exhibition by two refugees - a Rwandan and an Iraqi.
Among the guests were members of the media, the diplomatic community and non-governmental organisations.
