UNHCR convenes quarterly informal global briefings every year to discuss progress towards implementation of the Global Compact on Refugees (GCR) and related pledges, initiatives, and global events.
In 2024, the informal briefings will continue to build on the momentum of the second Global Refugee Forum (GRF), held in 2023. They will provide an opportunity for:

pledging entities and representatives of GCR multi-stakeholder initiatives to share their updates on pledge follow-up and implementation

UNHCR to provide updates on the roadmap to the High-Level Officials Meeting 2025.
