UNHCR staff register refugees at the Douma registration center on the outskirts of Damascus. Registering with UNHCR ensures that the most vulnerable refugees receive aid.

UNHCR will organise sports events in Abidjan, Tabou and Guiglo. Competitions will be open to both refugee and host populations.
An official ceremony attended by deputies and the diplomatic corps will take place in the Assemblée Nationale in order to present the refugees situation and to promote the asylum law.
Exhibitions, drawing contests, musical and theatre events will be organised to promote tolerance and awareness about the refugee situation.
A UNHCR film will be broadcast on the national TV channel.
