World Refugee Day 2002: Croatia

On 17 June, European Movement Croatia hosted a conference on the theme "Social and Economic Integration of Returnees" in Zagreb. The Regional Return Initiative for South-Eastern Europe, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and UNHCR were represented. Among other participants were refugees, NGO representatives, diplomatic corps, academics, journalists, and ministers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and Croatia.

In Osijek, UNHCR organised lectures and debates at the Faculty of Law.
