Protection system for wells in Wadis

In Chad and other countries in the Sahel region, many wells supplying piped water for refugees are inside or near the edges of wadis (rivers or valleys that are dry except during the rainy season), where a challenge exists with the cost to protect them. This document provides a design proposal for a durable, low-cost solution for protecting the water systems inside and near the edges of wadis.
