UNHCR has been working with different partners since we first began helping the forcibly displaced in the early 1950s. The main goal of the organization’s vast network of partnerships is to ensure better outcomes for persons of concern by combining and leveraging complementary resources and working together in a transparent, respectful and mutually beneficial way.
Government Partners
In a complex environment with fast shifting needs and priorities, we depend on donors to provide contributions that can be allocated as flexibly as possible.
Partner Organizations
UNHCR places great importance on continuously improving collaborations with implementing and operational partners, particularly promoting national partners.
Private Sector and Foundations
Support from private partners injects new and vital energy into finding responses to refugee needs and improving our capacity to make a difference.
El Gouna Film Festival
Since its inception in 2017, UNHCR has been an active participant in the Gouna Film Festival festival to bring refugee stories to the public and shed light on their plight.
MENA Civil Society Network
A collaboration platform for civil society actors in the region to jointly develop common strategies for the protection and support of refugees and host communities.
