Our partnerships range from governments to non-governmental organizations, the private sector, civil society and refugee communities.We work with governments, foundations and private donors so that refugees can be assisted immediately. Longer-term solutions also depend on the participation of civil society and refugees themselves.
UNHCR has been working with different partners since we first began helping the forcibly displaced in the early 1950s. The main goal of the organization’s vast network of partnerships is to ensure better outcomes for persons of concern by combining and leveraging complementary resources and working together in a transparent, respectful and mutually beneficial way.
