In Namibia’s Osire settlement, refugees face a bleak socio-economic outlook as climatic shocks and restrictive policies limit their ability to become self-sufficient. UNHCR and the UN World Food Programme commissioned two assessments to fully understand the experiences of refugees in terms of food security, nutrition, and livelihood opportunities. The findings are quite alarming.
