1. At its 8th plenary meeting, on 4 May 1995, the Council took the following action with regard to its subsidiary and related bodies:

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE PROGRAMME OF THE UNITED NATIONS HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR REFUGEES

The Council elected the following three Member States in accordance with General Assembly resolution 49/171: Bangladesh, India and Russian Federation.
