- World Refugee Day will be marked by the first visit of the High Commissioner, António Guterres, to Liberia.
- Panels on the theme "Hope" will be organized at City Hall, Monrovia (Morning, 20 June). They will include discussions and a photo exhibition on UNHCR's work in Liberia.
- Concerning the afternoon activities, there may be visits to former displaced persons and returnees areas, a main area of repatriation for returnees or a refugee camp with activities for the World Refugee Day (20 June).
- A press briefing with local media will be held at UNMIL Headquarters (10 am, 21 June).
