Tresor, is a High Level Influencer for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's LuQuLuQu Tribe.
Tresor is a multi-award winning, platinum selling singer-songwriter and producer. He is the co-founder of the Durban afro-fusion band Maisha, and is a refugee from Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo. Inspired by his personal experience fleeing violence in his home country, Tresor is determined to support forcibly displaced families through his music and social influence.
Tresor has visited Dzaleka, the largest refugee camp in Malawi, to gain a better understanding of UNHCR’s work and our efforts to help refugees develop their skills. In the face of the coronavirus pandemic, Tresor participated in the LuQuLuQu fundraising and public engagement campaigns. Tresor uses his platform to tell stories of resilience and raise awareness of the plight of refugees whilst sharing his own story of displacement.
