As part of its global #IBelong campaign which was launched in November 2014, each year, on this occasion, UNHCR calls on all states to reinforce their efforts in ending statelessness – a problem that affects the most vulnerable and stigmatized members of society.
On 12-15 November 2020, a giant teddy bear dedicated to the prevention of statelessness among children will stand in the entrance hall of the Gulliver Mall for four days. This installation titled ‘Invisible Children: Under the Risk of Statelessness’ evokes the risk of statelessness among children born in NGCA who have not obtained a Ukrainian birth certificate.
We invite you to take a selfie with the toy bear and make a post in social media emphasizing the importance of birth registration for ensuring access to rights. Please use the following hashtags:
#IBelong #EndStatelessness #ЯІсную
Three winners, randomly selected through Random.org, will receive branded toy bears from UNHCR.
Address: Gulliver mall (main hall), 1-A Sportyvna Square
