UNHCR's Assistant Regional Representative addressed students at the American University in Cairo, where the refugee agency set up an information stand to distribute publications and posters on World Refugee Day.
More public interest was generated through a 20-minute interview with a UNHCR staff on the local talkshow, "Good Morning Egypt".
Refugee children were treated to a theme park outing in co-operation with UNHCR's partner agency, Family Planning.
