On 19 June, UNHCR will participate in a World Refugee Day celebration called "The world belongs to everyone" that will take place in Brussels.

Flemish refugee NGO, OCIV, will host an exhibition of arts by refugees and well-known Flemish personalities in the Botanique in Brussels. The exhibition will be followed by a meeting for refugees, volunteers and NGOs.

In the evening, OCIV will organise a charity concert at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, where well-known Flemish rock bands will perform. Artists will include Tsatt, Hormonia and Flip Kowlier, with special guests Stef Kamil (ex-dEUS), Bart Peeters and Roos Van Acker. The show will be presented by the Iranian refugee and UK stand-up comedian, Shappi Korsandi.

On 19 June, an inter-religious vigil will take place in Molenbeek (Brussels). The NGO, Pax Christi, will organise an evening of solidarity with songs, readings and prayers by Christians, Muslims, Bahai's, Hindus and Sikhs, and testimonies by refugees and asylum seekers.

On 20 June in the afternoon, the multi-cultural music festival, "C'est la fête au village!" will take place at College Saint-Hubert, Watermael-Boisfort in Brussels. Several bands will perform music and dances, including Anakrouze, Iragi, Nostop, Orlando y su Conjunto and Turdos Philomelos.

The festival will be organised in partnership with Convivial, Pax Christi and other NGOs, with the support of UNHCR.
