- To promote tolerance and respect towards other cultures and nationalities, the fourth edition of the World Refugee Day Festival will be held in coordination with Amnesty International, Sin Fronteras, and the National Council to Prevent Discrimination.
- A football match is planned for refugee children and youngsters in the city of Tapachula, Chiapas, with the Shelter for Unaccompanied Minors of the Human Development Institute of the state.
- The Federal government will mark World Refugee Day with a ceremony presenting a CD-ROM with the compilation of refugee instruments and a photographic exhibition.
- A concert and photographic exhibition marking World Refugee Day in coordination with the government are being held.
