In photos: David Morrissey visits Syrian refugees in Lebanon

David meets Syrian refugees Talal Khaled Marwan (aged 32, right, his wife Maha (26, left) and their son Hisham. Originally from Homs, they have been in Lebanon for five years since fleeing bombings in Syria. Talal has been working as a carpenter in Lebanon but is hoping for a new start and opportunities as the family are being resettled to the UK. Both Talal and Maha's mothers came from Syria to say their final goodbyes to the family.

David meets Syrian refugees Jamal Ahmad Al Khaled, his wife Hiba and their two daughters Lamis (aged 5) and Aseel (aged 2.5) in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. Jamal has been working as an agricultural worker since the family fled the Syrian conflict nearly four years ago. The family is being resettled to the UK.
