On 14 June, a drawing session of 200 refugee children took place in Chui and Osh Oblasts on the theme "My Sister."

On 18 June, a seminar was held in Kant about the situation of refugee women in the country. Journalists also attended the seminar and visited nearby refugee communities.

On 20 June, a cultural festival took place in the square in front of the Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theatre with concerts and performances by refugees, 150 children drawing on the asphalt, ethnic food, an exhibition of handicrafts by refugee women and information about UNHCR. The event attracted some 600 refugees, representatives of the international community, government officials and journalists.
