"My physical security is my own responsibility” - refugee women take charge of their security

Gathered at UNHCR partner, BOSCO-run centre, women from Afghan, Myanmar, Somali, Congolese, and Ugandan communities came together to learn, share experiences, and empower one another.

UNHCR India operates in 11 locations with the support of 8 implementing partners.

We provide sustainable and timely support to address the basic needs of the most vulnerable refugees and asylum-seekers across the country. 

Our gamut includes the determination of refugee status, providing emergency and life-saving health care, legal and social counselling, along with psycho-social support.
