At its 52nd plenary meeting, on 25 July 1985, the Council took note of the following reports, made orally before the Third (Programme and Co-ordination) Committee on 9 July 1985:

(a) ...

(b) Oral report on humanitarian assistance to refugees in Somalia, assistance to displaced persons in Ethiopia, the situation of refugees in the Sudan and assistance to student refugees in southern Africa made, on behalf of the Secretary-General, by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees;

(c) Oral reports on the Second International Conference on Assistance to Refugees in Africa made, on behalf of the Secretary-General, by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the representatives of the Under-Secretary-General for Special Political Questions and the United Nations Development Programme.
