- A concert in San Cristóbal will highlight the plight of refugees and displaced people with the aim of changing public opinion.
- Community fairs in Ureña (Táchira), Maracaibo (Zulia) and Apure will increase local visibility and educate people about UNHCR's work with refugees.
- A Cine forum, including the screening of a film on refugee issues will take place. Afterwards, there will be an open discussion on the problems presented in the movie.
- A conference on Human Rights will inform the public about the situation in the country.
- The official opening of UNHCR's new office in Maracaibo (Zulia) will give visibility to the activities, projects and programmes that UNHCR promotes finances and implements in Zulia state.
