Students and teachers can start a social media page to share about refugee issues to help raise public awareness and gather support for people forced to flee in the social network they build digitally.
Teachers and students can utilize their countless ideas to prepare a Refugee Day/ Week/ Month. This theme creates a holistic environment for easier information dissemination and support mobilization. It can also create long-lasting memories for participants and amplify awareness-raising efforts.
Schools set up exhibition booths where they shared information about refugee and UNHCR’s protection work. At the same time, organizing bazaars to include different activities and games which can bring fun and mobilize students to support UNHCR’s work in providing life-saving support for displaced populations and safeguarding their rights.
Dedicated students and teachers can set up a school club and society to implement various advocacy initiatives regularly throughout the school year.
