FOR THE LEASE OF BUILDING FOR THE UNHCR EGYPT OPERATION

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), established on December 14, 1950 by the United Nations General Assembly1, intends to prequalify buildings available for lease in specific areas in Egypt – Cairo.

This is an invitation for Real Estate Agents to express interest in providing options for the above-mentioned requirement. Real estate agents interested in participating and offering buildings shall find herewith the necessary requirements and qualification information.

UNHCR invites interested real estate agents to carefully follow the instructions described below.

1.     REQUIREMENTS

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Egypt – Cairo  (referred to hereinafter as UNHCR), invites real estate agents and the owners to provide buildings in Zamalek, Downtown, Garden City, Naser city, 5^th settlement, and Mohandessin areas as shown below in the map, the areas are circled in green under lease agreement for a period of three (3) years, potentially extendable for 2 additional years. The validity of the lease agreement will start upon completion of office renovation and availability of space to the staff.
