Protect people from the cold
Winter is here. Rain, flooding, snow and sub-zero temperatures are threatening the lives of people forced to spend winter far from home.
In Lebanon, entire neighbourhoods have been flattened by airstrikes and families are sleeping on the ground, without as much as a blanket. In Afghanistan, people are having to choose between heating and eating, despite temperatures dropping well below freezing. In Ukraine, people are struggling to repair and insulate bombed-out homes, while in Egypt, more and more Sudanese families arrive each day, traumatized and with few belongings.
This winter, our teams are dealing with vastly different crises across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, stretching our operations and our budgets like never before. Your donations can provide life-saving support and help people survive the depths of winter.
