- To shed light on the humanitarian side of refugee issues a press conference at UNHCR is scheduled.
- A "bike ride campaign" will be organized by the National Forum for Youth and Culture. The route will take 100 riders through the capital city's busiest streets, with three stops to generate public attention and facilitate distribution of outreach materials. A tent will be set up at the final destination where refugees will be able to entertain, sell handicrafts etc.
- In order to raise the level of understanding of refugee issues among the general population, a drawing competition by refugee children on this year's theme of "Hope" will be organized. Afterwards, the winner will be interviewed on the radio.
- In all events, T-shirts and caps with the World Refugee Day logo will be distributed to participants and audiences.
