Working in partnership to save lives and build better futures for people forced to flee
With a presence in 136 countries and territories, UNHCR has expert knowledge of forced displacement and unique expertise in protection, law and policy, inclusion, emergencies, and durable solutions for forcibly displaced people.
Our work is undertaken in collaboration with various actors on a local, regional and international level. These include States, NGOs, civil society, development actors, refugees and other key stakeholders who can support protection, inclusion and solutions for refugees. It is only through these multilateral partnerships that programmes can be implemented effectively and positive impact for forcibly displaced and stateless populations can be maximized.
Our learning resources
UNHCR develops and maintains various resources and materials related to forced displacement and protection which can support capacity-building efforts for States, international organizations, NGOs, civil society and other actors engaged in supporting forcibly displaced and stateless people.
