Dr. King’ori is a High-Level Influencer for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency’s LuQuLuQu campaign

Dr. King’ori  is a media personality, comedian, a TV host for NTV Kenya's show 'The Wicked Edition’, as well as a radio host on Nation FM’s breakfast show.

As a High-Level Influencer for UNHCR’s LuQuLuQu campaign, Dr, King’ori joined the UNHCR Step for Safety campaign in Nairobi to support refugee families forced to flee because of conflict, violence and persecution.  

Together with UNHCR, Dr. King’ori has visited Kakuma refugee camp - one of the two main refugee camps in Kenya - in 2017 and 2019, and met displaced people looking to give their skills and talents to the global community.  

Dr. King’ori believes that everyone deserves a chance for a better future. He has actively supported the LuQuLuQu campaign in 2018 and 2019, using his platform to raise funds for refugees by urging his viewers to donate and show up for the Step for Safety walks in solidarity with those who have been forced to flee.
