Continuing to support the United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees (UNHCR), Baker McKenzie Bangkok once again collaborated with us to host a CSR event to help raise funds to support refugees and stateless people around the world.
The “Baker McKenzie Silent Auction for Refugees with UNHCR” was held on Tuesday, 3 December 2019 in the Bangkok Office where its employees participated in a charity auction with over 70 items donated by their principals and partners with some items from UNHCR. The event was a huge success, raising a staggering of THB 400,000.
During the giving ceremony, Khun Say Sujintaya, Partner and Business Development & Marketing Communications Chair, and Khun Waranon Vanichprapa, Partner and CSR Chair, presented the donation cheque to Khun Pia Carmela Paguio, UNHCR’s Deputy Representative in Thailand, and Khun Cataliya Chalermvongsenee, Private Partnerships and Philanthropy Associate.
