Ms. Thiranun Arunwattanakul (Neung) is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MONIX Co., Ltd., a developer of the legitimate online loan application Phoenix (FINNIX) to help Thais involved in the informal loan system.
Ms. Thiranun graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. After graduating, her first work was at Accenture, a large-scale strategy, technology and systems consulting company for the banking system. Just four and a half years after joining the company, she was promoted to manager, and two years later, she tried to gain experience in consumerism by working with a team of consultants on systems and technology relating to domestic and international sales at CP Food Trading Company. Ms. Thiranun subsequently joined Microsoft Thailand as a custodian of financial products and solutions. From there, she was given the opportunity to work with Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) in establishing a new financial agency, SCB10X. Shortly after the establishment of SCB10X, Ms. Thiranun joined a startup company, a subsidiary of SCB called MONIX, a joint venture company between SCB and Abakus Group, a Unicorn Fintech from China, where she took the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), working directly with partners from China. Subsequently, the startup has become a fully digital finance company (Fintech Startup).
As a young female executive in the technology industry, Ms. Thiranun believes that everyone is equal and can meet the challenges of working in the industry, whether as a woman or a young person. She perceives that her behaviour and professionalism in this industry have added value to her life and helped her become a role model for others.
In addition to technological expertise, Ms. Thiranun is also enthusiastic about her social responsibility work. She has always been interested in humanitarian assistance and intends to help develop the Leading Women Fund Thailand network to help refugees, especially women and children.
