The annual meeting of the private sector #ForRefugees network, titled #RecipeForSupport, was held for the second time in December 2024 at the Il Primo cooking school in Belgrade.
Members of the network and other private sector partners had the opportunity to engage in a hands-on cultural exchange by jointly preparing and tasting traditional Iraqi and Cuban dishes, alongside refugees and asylum seekers from these countries, as well as from Burundi, Afghanistan, and Belarus.
During the event, UNHCR presented the achievements of the #ForRefugees network over the past year and a half, along with future plans. Company representatives contributed by sharing insights into their upcoming activities and initiatives. The event was attended by representatives from IKEA, Mercator-S, Alumil, Q Team Solutions, and other companies.
