INTRODUCTION TO UNHCR
UNHCR has been operating in the Philippines for over 30 years. For many years, its presence was limited in Manila with focus on asylum seekers, refugees, asylum-migration issues and statelessness.
In May 2010, in the context of a renewed dialogue between the Government and armed groups in southern Philippines, UNHCR established presence in Mindanao with the opening of its Field Office in Cotabato City. In Mindanao, UNHCR addresses issues related to internal displacement to operationalize the UN Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement. It also addresses the issue on statelessness in the context of mixed migration.
SERVICE REQUIREMENT
The website of UNHCR Philippines (www.unhcr.ph) is its main digital engagement platform, and has been the organization’s window to the public since it went live on 19 June 2013. Together with a media-placement agency, UNHCR Philippines reaches its target audiences via drive-to-site platforms to achieve its objective to engage financial and non-financial supporters to the refugee cause.
The UNHCR Representation in the Philippines invites interested firms/suppliers to submit a firm offer for the development, maintenance, design, and digital marketing of the UNHCR Philippines website with specifications hereunder:
1. Website development and maintenance
– Content Management System
– Database and Email Marketing (Exact Target)
– Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
– Website statistics configured using Google Analytics (GA) with e-commerce and goals setup, and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
– 24/7 Technical Support
2. Digital Marketing for lead generation and fundraising
-Marketing Campaign Strategy
-Creative Content Production
