World Refugee Day is marked every year to celebrate the strength and courage of refugees. This year, the focus will be on solutions and the power of inclusion.

Each year on June 20, the world celebrates World Refugee Day. In 2022, the focus was on the right to seek safety.

In May 2021, on the World Day for Cultural Diversity, which is also the Memorial Day of National Communities of Lithuania, UNHCR hosted a joint event with Jonava municipality in Lithuania.
