Støtte fra Danmark gør en forskel for UNHCR’s humanitære arbejde i jordskælvsramte Afghanistan
21.12.2023Jordskælvene, der fandt sted den 7. og 11. oktober 2023, har efterladt Afghanistan i kaos. Jordskælvene har påvirket 250.000 mennesker, kostet over 1.400 mennesker livet og efterladt 19.250 personer fra 3.197 forskellige familier i akut nød. Danmarks urokkelige humanitære engagement gør det muligt for UNHCR, FN’s Flygtningeorganisation, at intensivere indsatsen, mens Afghanistan kæmper med eftervirkningerne af de to ødelæggende jordskælv.
