UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, has submitted our observations to the Norwegian government’s law proposal to amend the Norwegian Immigration Act and Regulation with the stated purpose of making it “less attractive” to seek asylum in Norway.
UNHCR finds the signal sent by Norway worrisome and provides a set of concrete recommendations to the Norwegian government.
