One year after the historic affirmation of the Global Compact on Refugees, the first Global Refugee Forum is a critical opportunity to build momentum towards achieving the objectives of this new commitment and strengthen our collective response to refugee situations.
UN Member States and other stakeholders should deliver concrete contributions and highlight key achievements and exchange good practices. The Forum will focus on the following areas: arrangements for burden and responsibility-sharing, education, jobs and livelihoods, energy and infrastructure, solutions, and protection capacity.
