March 7, 2023, Chisinau – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration continues to strengthen its administrative and technical capacities to improve its efficiency. Today, the Ministry received a batch of communication and information technology equipment from UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, represented in our country by Francesca Bonell.
The donation comprises desktop computers, headsets, telephones, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment worth over 7.5 million [Moldovan] lei. This comes at a crucial moment when MAEIE is intensifying its efforts to bring the Republic of Moldova to join the European Union.
The equipment provided by UNHCR will support our ministry’s transition to a modern, strategic, diverse, and secure communications portfolio. The donation will significantly help to modernize the Call Center which is at the service of the citizens and registers an increased number of requests.
