Dr. Majed Al-Azmi, Director General of the Zakat House of Kuwait.
Dr. Majed Al-Azmi has worked in the humanitarian and charitable field for many years, holding positions at the Zakat House to fund external projects and provide assistance to forcibly displaced families.
Dr. Majed has an extensive background in volunteering related to field work especially during the Syrian crisis, and he was chosen as one of the consultants to organize The International Pledging Conferences for Syria in 2014 & 2015 in Kuwait.
Dr. Majed Al-Azmi currently holds the position of Director General of the Zakat House of Kuwait since 2022.
The Zakat House of Kuwait, through its close partnership with UNHCR, contributed to providing the essential support to more than 50,000 refugee and displaced families most in need, through various emergency responses and interventions in Bangladesh, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Mauritania.
