Even in the current situation, with the changes in our work modalities due to the precautionary measures in place to limit the spreading of COVID-19, UNHCR will still be communicating any sensitive information and general announcements on its services through its official channels: official UNHCR Jordan Facebook page and Twitter (@UNHCRJordan), official UNHCR Jordan website (www.unhcr.org/jo), Community Support Committees, SMS and the UNHCR Helpline (064008000).
Always make sure you receive your information from an official source and from UNHCR, and avoid any rumours/false news that may be spreading among the community. You can always get in touch with UNHCR to verify this kind of information.
We would also like to remind you that all UNHCR services, including Resettlement, are free of charge. If you feel you have been a victim of fraud, or if you are aware of fraud or any other form of misconduct by a UNHCR staff member or its partners, please report this to UNHCR. All complaints will be treated as confidential; you may report anonymously if you do not wish to share your name or case number.
