Some are claiming that UNHCR is involved or issued official statements. To avoid these attempts of fraud, exploitation and false information, please do not get in contact with these pages, as they do not represent UNHCR or its partners.
Information on services by UNHCR are announced through UNHCR Jordan’s official channels. Even in the current situation, with the changes in our work modalities due to the precautionary measures in place to limit the spreading of COVID-19, UNHCR will still be communicating any sensitive information and general announcements on its services through its official channels: official UNHCR Jordan Facebook page and Twitter (@UNHCRJordan), official UNHCR Jordan website (www.unhcr.org/jo), Community Support Committees, SMS and the UNHCR Helpline (064008000).
Always make sure you receive your information from an official source and from UNHCR, and avoid any rumours/false news that may be spreading among the community. You can always get in touch with UNHCR to verify this kind of information.
