Iranian officials attended the 75th session of UNHCR ExCom.
The 75th Annual Session of the Executive Committee of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is being held from 14 to 19 October 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland. This annual session brings together high-ranking officials from various countries and representatives of international organizations related to refugee issues. During the session, representatives and officials from different countries deliver speeches regarding the international community’s commitments to supporting refugees and host countries, as well as the UNHCR’s programs.
The delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by Mr. Yarahmadi, Advisor to the Minister and Head of Center for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants’ Affairs Ministry of Interior (CAFIA), along with representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is participating in the session. In addition to delivering a speech at the plenary session, the Iranian delegation will have several planned meetings at the side of Ex.Com.
