Humanitarian Innovation Jam, January 15-16, Washington DC
How can we create healthy ecosystems for managing humanitarian innovation?
We’re once again looking for humanitarian pracitioners, students, scholars, and private sector partners to converse and collaborate with us to identify some of the biggest challenges to managing humanitarian innovation. We started the Humanitarian Innovation Jam (HIJ) in 2013 in partnership with Georgetown University. At that first event, we mapped innovation (you can download that knowledge map here). Now, building on that, HIJ 2015 will focus on managing innovation in the humanitarian sector.
We’re hoping you could help us answer two key questions at HIJ2015:
• What are the challenges that we must overcome to develop a healthy ecosystem for managing humanitarian innovation?
• What tangible outputs can we create to guide organizations and work towards building a framework for managing humanitarian innovation?
