Adoption of the agenda and other organizational matters

Decision 1988/152

¹ 1. At its 18th plenary meeting, on 6 July 1988, the Economic and Social Council adopted the agenda of its second regular session of 1988,² approved the organization of work for the session³ and decided:

(a) To transmit the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees⁴ to the General Assembly at its forty-third session;

(b) To consider in plenary meeting the question of the draft introduction to the next medium-term plan.

2. At its 22nd plenary meeting, on 8 July 1988, the Council decided to devote one plenary meeting to a discussion of the question of the economic aspects of women in development within the context of its general discussion of international economic and social policy, including regional and sectoral developments (agenda item 2)
