Sophie Nzinga is a fashion designer from Senegal, and a High Profile Supporter for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's LuQuLuQu campaign.  She believes that a light should be shone on the plight of African refugees and society should work to provide refugees with tangible skills to change their lives.

“I support the LuQuLuQu campaign because I always say if not us then who will support them?”

Sophie devotes her time to help amplify the LuQuLuQu message of hope for a better future for refugee families. She has visited Ampain refugee camp in Ghana to learn about UNHCR’s works and engaged with forcibly displaced families, and was also present for the launch of the LuQuLuQu campaign in Accra, Ghana.
