An official event will be organised to inaugurate the Refugee Reception Centre at the end of May. Representatives from the government, international community and media will be invited and informed of World Refugee Day activities.
The fifth "Rock for Refugees" concert will be held and broadcast on national TV. UNHCR and the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) will organise Refugee Food Day and an exhibition and sale of handicrafts made by refugees.
CCR and Save the Children will hold a sport competition for young refugees, asylum seekers and local children. A World Refugee Day poster exhibition will also take place at the Press House.
