A press conference was held 19 June at the Russian Information Agency in Moscow on the problems faced by displaced people in Russia.
In St Petersburg on 20 June, the Red Cross and city authorities organized a roundtable discussion on cooperation between the government and NGOs in refugee integration and protection. It was attended by UNHCR, NGOs, refugees and public officials.
In Chechnya, the Ombudsman's Office in Grozny held a press conference about World Refugee Day and UNHCR activities in the republic.
