Complementary Pathways to Ireland
Complementary Pathways to Ireland
Almost half of the world's refugees are of working age, but many find themselves in countries of asylum where they have limited avenues to work or study.
These are people with skills, dreams, and ambitions, but who face insurmountable barriers in accessing opportunities due to being a refugee.
A Gateway to Hope
Complementary Pathways are safe and legal routes for refugees to relocate from a country of asylum to a third country where their international protection needs can be met. These pathways encompass various opportunities, including pursuing education in a third country, exploring employment prospects, facilitating family reunification, and embracing humanitarian and sponsorship schemes.
EU-Passworld: Bridging Futures
EU- Passworld is a groundbreaking pilot programme is funded by the European Union’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) from 2022-2024.
