Educate A Child - Annual Report 2020

The UNHCR-Educate A Child Programme aims to provide equitable quality primary education for out-of-school refugee and internally displaced children, and to support their retention once enrolled. This report summarizes the activities achieved in 14 countries - Cameroon, Chad, Iraq, Kenya-Dadaab, Kenya- Kakuma, Malawi, Malaysia, Mexico, Pakistan, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, the Syrian Arab Republic, Uganda, and Yemen – as well as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, other major challenges that were faced during the 2020 implementation period.
