that UNHCR is looking forward to initiating the process for establishing a new Long-Term Agreements (LTA/s) for one or more vendors for logistics and Event Management Services in terms of 1+1 years . The purpose of the LTA/s is to support the implementation of the activities laid out in the Plan of Action signed jointly between UNHCR and the League of Arab States, especially that concerning the organization of the World Refugee Day 2022.
- The Evaluation criteria/Minimum requirements:
- The previous experience and if you have previously done corporate events. The attention to details. The creativity.
- The flexibility. As we always receive last minute comments and requests, and we always demand a lot of modifications.
- The quality of the products and services you will provide. For example, what are the materials you will use for the stage, what are the materials you will use for lighting the building? What are the specs of the sound equipment? Because if anything goes wrong with this, it will be a disaster. So maybe we can ask you about the fabrication techniques: different kinds of stages, platforms, flooring materials, the kinds of printing materials, it’s fixture techniques etc
- The qualifications of your manpower. Last year we had excellent technicians, who were able to solve the problem of lights coming from Tahrir square. No one knew what to do and it was only done by the technician, so that’s something we will also need to highlight.
- Does your work match the standards laid out by LAS HQ. For example, some suppliers with very expensive products and very nice work did not meet LAS criteria for failing to use professional color combinations and maintain the image of a diplomatic event.
- Comfort with using technology. Due to COVID-19, many of the ideas we had went online few days before the event, for example the pledge wall. So we will need someone who’s comfortable with that.
- The ability to provide high quality with realistic prices.
