First UNHCR relief flights and convoys arrive in Pakistan
17 Oct 2005 The first of tonnes of tents, blankets and other relief items for Pakistan's earthquake victims have arrived from the UN refugee agency's warehouses around the world, including neighbouring Afghanistan. The new supplies come just in time, as UNHCR has almost emptied its Pakistan warehouses after a week of emergency aid delivery.
